So tomorrow Cooper and Jerry go in for their neutering, and then the day after (Wednesday) new lad Fox goes in for his, so that's 2 in two days. Please send them lots of healing vibes! They all have sow wives waiting that I think they will just adore! I'll keep this thread updated with their progress!

I can’t wait til I can neuter my boy in October so he can go back ((they came to me in the same cage)) with his girlfriend in November fingers crossed the babies are female

Countdown to ladies has begun for the lucky Cooper and Jerry. Hope they have a good night x

Jerry and Cooper have been very well over night, all eating, pooping and doing things they should! Dropped Fox off for his neutering this morning. We had a little drama in the car, he escaped his carrier once he heard his balls were being chopped and tried to drive the car back home!

OMG! That is sooooo cute. Don't worry little Fox, it will all be worth it when you met your lovely ladies. I'm sure Jerry and Cooper have just been making out it's worse than it is to impress the girls.
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.xx

Ah bless them, I'm sure they will be fine & heaven awaits as my Gregory will agree with! All the best & looking forward to hearing how they are doing x

Fox is home, balls stills intact! The anaesthetic they use didn't agree with him and despite using the maximum safe dose he only ever got slightly wobbly. Jo (the vet) didn't want to use the mask to gas him under as he was already stressed and fighting them so we've decided to try another day with a different anaesthetic when he's not as stressed, plus with the amount he had it wasn't safe to give him anything else. He spend the afternoon at the vets being monitored to make sure there was no ill effects and he's back home now bright and awake eating his lunch! What a stubborn man. He's booked in for 20th to try again.

Poor Fox, he really doesn't want to lose his plums. No wonder he was stressed if the other boys had told him what had happened to them.😃
Glad he is ok.x

Poor chap! We had a similar thing with weird little Tallullah skinny pig, but they had to proceed as she had a big abscess that came up very suddenly from a bite wound influcted during her infamous failed bonding with big pig Clover- it took 4x the usual dose of anaesthetic to put her to sleep, then 4x the usual wake-up injections to bring her back. Some piggies just have odd metabolisms I guess but then with Tallullah we put it down to her weird skinny piggyness...
Hope he recovers ok and the vet has better luck next time! Or might you rethink your pairings now? Poor Fox x
