Can anyone recommend any vets in the Portsmouth area that does neutering?

I don't know any in the Portsmouth area but my local Vets4Pets neutered Dennis and Christian and they came away unscathed (minus their plums!) I'll pm you the address. I wouldn't go anywhere else for vet treatment.

Have you looked on the recommended vet locator? You just type in your postcode.
The key questions to ask are about how often they do the procedure in Guinea pigs - some vets say they do loads of neutering but if you dig deeper it is in other types of animals. Also their approach to pain relief - you want a vet that is really focused on pain relief and will send u home with adequate supplies as a piggie in pain will not eat. I have only had 2 of my boys neutered - one so he could be bonded with a girl at 9 months old and he hardly noticed the op and the second was for medical reasons (tumor) and the recovery was harder.
