Itook brownpig to the pets at home vets as they were open on a sunday and had spaces. Vet poked with a needle, and pus went everywhere, all over the poornurse who was holding him.

I now have abs and metacam for him, we will keep an eye on it while i am away and book him in for draining and cleaning on friday. If itgets any bigger, housemates can take him to the vets earlier. He is still eating and running around, so should be ok while i am away.

Phew!

oh poor brownpig. Glad you found a vet open on a Sunday. Our new p @ h has a vets as well...x

Am not a pets at home fan at all, but tbh when they gave me an appointment at less than an hours notice and then at less than half the price of the out of hours vet at my practice, i could not complain. I will try and book him into my normal vets for the op. At least they are open on a sunday.

I never understand about vets. Most people will work mon to fri, yet tgey hardly ever open on weekends!
