Soo! My 9yrs old Grandad pig decided it's time to move from their Bush-Pigs-Lifestyle to the Hamptons life of luxury....

OK, OK. It's my fault... I am already fed up of having to check the temperatures in the piggie shed and with Granpa hitting his golden years I decided it's time to move them into the spare bedroom, where my other two are! They always preffered the shed, but getting Grandpa into more steady temperature won the argument! Fingers crossed Fluff-butt is mature enough to appreciate the move into temporary home!

Grandpa is a rescue from nasty condition (breeder), so guessing only the strong ones survived. He's deaf and not exactly spring chicken anymore! But still happy to enjoy good food and sunshine on the grass. Pic from his last stroll on the grass in September!

How adorable!

That reminds me - it's time to go and wrap George's hot water bottle! (it's outside his cage... he leans against the warm wall ☺)
He's a lovely old boy. I know a lady who, some years back, told me she once had a pig that lived for about 10 years... in the end it outlived all the other pigs but befriended a broody chicken who had sadly lost it's chicks to a fox. The old pig would hide under the chicken's wing and the hen would sit and brood it. I was sceptical at the time about a 10 year old pig but there - such things do happen!

He’s such a handsome senior. Enjoy the warmth
