Have finished my new C & C at last! Have almost done my back in & not sure if I ever want to see another fleece ever again in my life (despite having about 4 on the line right this minute drying lol!)

Because the bay window was the best place for natural daylight I have made a T shape which totals a 5 x 2. It's a bit tricky to clean out as I have to negotiate teeny space around it but hopefully in time I will learn to negotiate it lol!

The piggies went nuts when they first went in it, they were doing laps & popcorning like crazy then all of them collapsed in a heap exhausted :))

The babies :

Only ever had piggies in pairs before so this should be interesting lol :))

Sorry the photos are a bit naff I didn't want to use the flash & scare them :)

It looks great and your babies are delightful!

Can you put the cage support on wheels or at least on a bit of tough fabric, so you can pull it forward for easier cleaning?

I have it balanced on two large coffee tables at the moment, it's safe but I want to get more grids from B & Q, use the connectors so it will all slide on the laminate flooring hopefully. However B & Q are out of stock, & I ordered them a month ago rolleyes I wonder how I could get the wheels onto the grids though? A piece of carpet or something if a great idea thanks! I have a picnic blanket under the base of the cage, £2.50 from Dunelm, I could use that, thanks for the idea!

There is a base, underneath the correx I made a base from more grids (hence I ran out lol) I found that made it much more secure & stable, & used tons of cable ties. I also made a lid to put on at night after I saw them doing laps around the place, they were running up the side of the walls round & round, like those daredevil motorcyclists that go around the velodrome things & build up speed & get higher & higher!

looks great! they're all gorgeous, especially the rex one totally stretched out!

Yes check out her pink toes x) she is a bit greedy, I have to give the little ones a head start when it comes to meal times & she has an extra cuddle. No "squibbles" from her yet, but the little one does it all the time when you stroke her, she is very cute drool

Hopefully it's big enough, used my awful maths to work out the area of the two rectangular shapes, added together it's 1.22 square metres, so for three piggies hopefully that's okay? When I manage to get some more grids I plan to do a 2 x 1 upper storey for them as well :))

Not sure about their names yet, although this is Ziggy Stardust as she is a dead ringer for David Bowie lol

She really does have one black ear, brown eye & one pink ear, blue eye! She also has so many different colours on her, black, brown, roan, chestnut, white, grey even!

And at the moment this one is Daisy Doolittle but I might rename her Cloud because of her markings :

Open to suggestions about names :)

try screwfix for grids :)

Woweeee, i love your set up! Well done, it looks brilliant! I think it's big enough for 3. I had a 4x2 with 1x2 hayloft when i was home checked by Walsall RSPCA and they were happy with that space for 3.

Your piggies are so beautiful and i love that they were running around the sides! :)):))

I did use Screwfix grids for the main cage as I was worried about the B & Q ones & the squares being too big for little heads :... However they came in use for the base anyway. I have another pack on order but no joy yet :( I would prefer to use the B & Q ones for underneath to make the stand, will cable tie the cage to the base, then use the base to store stuff as my dining room is mostly hay & cardboard boxes now lol

That's okay then sounds I'm alright with the size :) Rexes don't usually run that much they are quite laid back, but the Aby type one is totally nuts she is always on the move & the most vocal piggy we've ever had; she is constantly chatting away & the little one already squeaks loudest when it's tea time :))

Oh my god they are the most adorable babies ever! I love your cage. You have done an amazing job. I think you have to name the cutie pie cloud. It suits her so much.:)

What a great set up. Your piggies are so gorgeous! x) I also like the name Cloud, it suits her.

I may change it to Daisy Cloud then, Cloud for short :)) She has a white hip & leg it looks really weird like someone drew it on her lol :))

A great setup! Love Daisy Cloud she is sooooooo cute x)

How is Kizzy doing now?

Little Holly recently had a stillbon baby, bless her, she came into the rescue pregnant and is only little more than a baby herself. She is currently being checked over and then we shall be looking to rehome her with a friend. :) I think we may bond her with one of our boys who is recovering from a recent neutering op unless she finds a friend sooner.....

Kizzy is doing great, but still rattles. She has recovered from the infection but our vet believes that she has damage to her respiratory tract and possibly heart problems. She continues to be happy though. :)
