Well folks today we collected Rikki & Paloma from Hels and felt truly honoured :(|) thank you Hels soooo much

They were extremely inquisitive in the car on the way home when the lid of their carrier was opened - Paloma moreso than Rikki who looked a little timid

We got them into their new house with their fleece (gratefullly donated by Mojules :)) ) - got them some food which within 10 minutes of being here Rikki managed to spill the dish but his face is oh sooooo cute he was forgiven straight away - then the veggie session followed which Paloma really tucked into - green beans yummy!!

Paloma really loves her bed then again so does Rikki - they are both such calm piggies and seem to have settled right in here at the madhouse :))

They look so at home, and Paloma looks the picture of health after her bad skin problem she is a credit to Hels.

totally agree with you there Hels has done a fabbydabulous job of nursing Paloma back to healthy x

They are too relaxed we keep checking on them :) Rikki actually had his eyes fully closed before, Paloma on the other hand will take some getting used to with those gorgeous pink eyes - OH is kinda freaked out by her just staring at him despite her being blind

Hels - hope you are able to see these now I think what happened was I uploaded them and then moved them to a diferent folder
Perhaps one of the mods could remove the post that has the removed or deeted bits in it as there no pics in there please x
 
Oooo beautiful piggies, and I'm glad they're settling in so quickly, such pretty piggies cant wait to hear of their adventures! :))
 
Oh wow, Karen, how did I miss this! Congratulations on adopting this gorgeous pair, they are so lucky to have found such a fab home, I know Hels will have been particular about who took them on and I am so glad it is you. :)

Hi Laura

Hee hee thanks it was done a bit quicker than we had planned and was kept quiet though I was desparate to say - it has happened within the last two to three wheeks we had to dicuss it with our boys first to see how they felt :)) and they said wheek wheek

They seem to have settled in Paloma more quickly than Rikki but we will let them run about tonight for the first time and see how they get on though Paloma will need extremely close supervision bless her wee blind eyes but her personality really shines :(|)
 
OK we had a quick photo shoot earlier to try and get some good ones of them.

Ok my excuses 1st up. we should have done it earlier when i would have had some natural light as well for some faster shutter speeds - sorry I'm not willing to up the ISO due to the noise and not cant find my serial number for software. ok ill stop blabbering

just 3 pics but will get some more done when i have a chance

Absolute beauties, the two of them, total stunners. x)

Gorgeous pics, I know how hard it is with a decent level of natural light being rather hard to find at this time of year. You did good. :)

They have been extremely understanding and have gave us both loads of cuddles tonight and are now sitting fairly close to one another xx
 
thanks Laura i will have to have a proper one when i get a chance. i thought i might have got away with it by using the tripod and the faster glass. not bad but any movement and that was it blurred.
31 pics taken and only maybe 4 or 5 that were usable.

maybe time, or excuse, to looking at flashguns {:|
 
Great pics of a gorgeous and very special pair!

It's so difficult to get good pics at this time of the year.
