Hi,

Just thought I'd let you know that there's a new app relating to piggies in the App Store (£2.99). It's called 'PocketGuideGuineaPigs' and gives info on breeds, birthing, feeding, grooming etc.

Not sure if its available on Android.
 
I have an Android and just searched, nothing yet but there is one called Guinea Pig + and that is more or less the same, not as great but helps until Anroid catch up with Apple :))

Hi

I am the developer for the Guinea Pig app, I am glad to see you liked it.

Just happened to find your posts while doing some research and thought I'd say hello.

We will be doing some technical updates to the app in the coming weeks which will bring the app up to the point where we can more easily update the content and bring it line with Apples latest IOS iCloud features. This will mean that we can both update specific info and as an end user the app will enable backup of your custom notes to the iCloud.

We also have a few further ideas for improvements over the coming months in the mid term schedule for it.

As for Android, we have looked into the possibility of bringing our database onto that platform and whilst it is not on our current roadmap due to other short term priorities it has not escaped our attention as a good idea, so thats a maybe but just not yet answer. :-)

Anyway really hope you continue to find it useful.

ps. Would be interested to find out if anyone has any photos of the Guinea Pig types that I am missing that they might be willing to share for the app in exchange for a mention in those entries.

A long time ago, we were asked by one of the forums members if we would be making an Android version of our popular iPhone Guinea Pig app and I promised to let the person know when it was done.
