I went on Saturday to meet clairelove's hubby in order to collect some of the pigs from this rescue:
http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=51721

They are all covered in lice, but in an ok condition. There are 4 chocolate coloured piggies that are terrified, I don't think I have ever seen pigs so scared. here are some pics from today:

As yet unnamed

All these are boars I haven't taken photos of the sows yet. They will be available for adoption once they are all neutered.

They are such good looking piggies! I am sure they will not be home hunting for long!

thanks for taking them we had a sow that we saw last week she had a massive lump down below the breeder let us have her yesterday and we went the vets yesterday and today with her and she has a massive hernia her bowel has come through the size of a golf ball and she also has a massive infection and is having emergancy surgery on tuesday when the small animal vet comes in she is about 6mths old and weighs 531g blood and puss shoots out of her urethra when my hubby asked why she hasnt taken her to the vet her reply was its far to expensive they rip you off, either way its not good for her,she is on 0.5ml of baytril twice a day and metacam twice a day for the pain the infection is so bad,we will be reporting it to the RSPCA has she has just left this poor sow to die8... she too is a self chocolate and all that we have taken were covered in lice too:(

she is name Jessica and has been on the lawn today i am trying to cram a life time in a few days

They're all LOVELY! So so cute. x)

Claire - the story of Jessica, that's horrible! Sending healing vibes to the poor pig. :( xx

Harvey is a cutie and that last boar has given me a real pang - the first picture of him reminded me very much of my own Mischief (RIP)!

Poor Jessica, at least she is with someone that cares about her now.

The last boar, is lovely isn't he. His fosterer still hasn't decided on a name for him.

Poor Jessica :-(

Hope she gets through the surgery and has a nice life ahead of her x
