new arrivals from gemma

well on Thursday Evie and gemma were kindly bought to their new home by gemma.

they were let lose in to a heard of 12 piggies running around my floor and i think they got to meet a couple of the other girls from the other cage who were on the lose :D all went well.

back in the cage they moved themselves to top level where they have chosen to stay and the other girls go to visit them ;) and nick the extra food ;D.

obviously they are a bit nervous if i open the door but are both very nosey. i gave them floor time together to make sure they were getting plenty of food, Evie the mum took advantage of this but gemma didn't want to know and spent the whole time pop corning which was so funny, she was like an excited kid let lose :D

they are both adorable and once caught very easy to handle.

thought you would like an update on the girls. Evie is so laid back and calm and quiet, as for your name sake gemma ::) she is very noisy and very daring and has no worry about the larger girls in the cage as she pushes them out the way and stands up to them, she really is a strong character.

well i will post some pics very soon to let u all see the new girls in the pack..........
 
Ah bless- thats a lovely story. I bet its odd getting a couple of pigs who are already human tame. All mine are totally skits when I get them - apart from Spud who was from a nice home 8) Can't wait for pics - I had a soft spot for baby Gemma when Human Gemma put the pics up :-*
 
That's great, they sound like little darlings yep can't wait for the pics :-* :-*
Over time i'm sure you'll be able to get them to socialise together, keep us in the loop :)
 
That's nice to hear they're settling in, you're right Evie is a lovely laid back piggy :)
 
Glad they're doing well and have settled in with your herd! Hopefully I'll be able to come over and see them again at some point when I'm at my Mum's and meet your other pigs properly without my Dad clock-watching lol!

I'm confused, is one of your piggies called Gemma and you called Gemma that would get me confused!
 
gemma you will always be welcome, i'd love you to see my lot at their worse :) that's when they are funny and give me the best laughs ;D

it's not dads that clock watch but males in general ;)

keep my number safe and if i move in the meantime I'll let you know, should be fun moving 26 piggies to their new home ::) and the mad dog, who by the way evie isn't sure of but gemma has already been on his paws and had a good sniff of his face, wish I'd had the camera ;D
 
yep my baby piggy is called gemma after gemma who made sure she got into this world safely :) and who has let me give gemma and evie a foreva home.
