I had another birth this morning - much easier than Sat night's one!
http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=51925

I woke to find 3 little ones - 2 boys and a girl. Mum is a B&W sheltie so the babies are most likely to be long haired and oh so cute!

Now I just need names for 7 babies and 2 mums! Thankfully I've not had anymore pregnant females come in so my nerves can take a rest.

More gorgeous babies and well done to mum. xx>>>

Hmmm.... names.... Edie and Anya for mum and daughter... Alfie and Danny for the boys?

Aww they are very cute! I had never seen baby pigs since joining the forum and it seems to be baby season now! :)

Hope that you can find them loving homes and I'm sure that people off the forum will come up with some names. :)

I'm so glad this birth wasnt as stressful and she has very beautiful healthy babies, I esp like the little brown and white one in the middle so cute! Perhaps summery names? Summer for the mummy, Juno,Juliet, Sunny, Coral, Daisy, Lilly? :)

They're so beautiful x)

Do shelties usually have all sheltie babies, or does it depend if the dad is sheltie too? I hope they will be longhaired because they'll be so pretty :)

She was made pregnant by her own son being left in with her for too long (8 weeks I was informed). I assume he was long haired too - he didn't come in the rescue. So we'll just have to wait and see what they turn into but I'll keep you all updated - I love sharing my piggies.

Thanks Michelle, it's a huge relief that they have all arrived and are doing so well. I had even more rescues turn up yesterday too! Christian, Peter's brother is bonding with Bruno, a lonely piggy visiting the rescue for a new friend.

Hope the boys are settling in well. It's going to be lovely to be able to keep up with their progress through the forum. Remember, if you have any worries or problems do ring me.

What beautiful bouncing baby piggies. love their chocolate colouring..

Awww they are so cute! When I saw the last one the name Minstrel came to mind as he's the exact same colour as the choclates! You could call the first one Marble like marble cake and then just think of a third M name!

Update on the family - they are doing very well, mum is still very shy but doing a great job with the babies. They are now 8 days old.

What a gorgeous family! x) x) x)

I hope that they all find loving homes quickly when they are ready to go!

From top to bottom: Carey, Lora, and Cory and the mum should be Marmee (that's what the children call their mom in a story I'm currently reading)
