hi there, i'm new to the forum and would like a bit of advice if possible please.
i have 2 females, both just over a year old, they have lived together since they were babies, both of them no problem.
my daughter wanted another pig so today we went and got a new baby female.
i introduced them, on a big blanket in the living room, plenty of food and hay for them. they were absolutley fine, just a bit of sniffing and no aggression shown from any of them. so great i thought. my daughter looked after them while i cleaned all their hutch out and put new bedding and hay etc in.
i put them all in the hutch and the 2 adults just went crazy with each other, teeth chattering, hair standing up and before i could stop it they flew at each other and started fighting, one of them drew blood. i took the baby out and both the adults just went back to normal again with no aggression to each other.
is this normal? i cant understand whats making them fight, well obviously something to do with the baby?
please help, my daughter is devastated :...
