HI everyone,
We're due our 1st (human :))) baby in January and just wondered how other people manage with piggies being inside the house at the same time? We bring our 3 indoors from Oct-Apr and they would normally be in the 3rd bedroom but as that's now where the nursery is gonna be, they will need to either go into the room next door or will be downstairs in the dining room (until we get a new dining table). Just wondered if this is ok to do that or is it possible the baby could be allergic to hay/fur etc? Or if the pigs would be stressed about a screaming baby. Otherwise we'd have to ventilate our shed but i don't really want that as i want the piggies to have human company.
Thanks :))

Our guinea pigs live in the dining room, luckily it's a decent sized space so room for a table & 6 chairs.
It seemed the most practical place for us to keep them as ithas a tiled floor so easy to clean up wees when they have floor time.
We have 2 little ones and havent had a problem with allergies, we also have a baby due in august, fingers crossed there'll be no problems there either.

I don't think the baby will bother them, they'll soon get used to the noise!
Good luck x
