I know I am stupid, but I went to join a gym nearby - it was closed. So as i walked back to my car I thought I would have a look in this petshop that I had never been to before, it specialises in snakes and reptiles, on the off chance that they would have some hay or piggy food, just for research purposes
. After a while of staring at the snakes and spiders in horrified fascination, i found a cage with a bunny and 2 piggies, both abbys. One was very tiny and huddled in the corner not moving. I watched them for a long time, then I called the shopkeeper over and asked if he was Ok and if I could look at him. he was very boney but so sweet, I said I would take him but the guy wanted to keep him on his own in the back of the shop for another week to make sure he was OK, which I thought was reasonable.
We brought him home last weekend, and he has done nothing but eat, popcorn and push his football around! here he is - bigger already! We have called him Huxley.
