Well a freidns of mine found a 8 week old boar that she could not keep... so I took him for her. We've had in in quarintine for a while now. His name is Kink-Ko (my 1 1/2 year old son named him) Well over the past few days we have been introducting him to Pickle as we hope they will get along well enough to be housed together.
At first on the floor, now after cleaning out a cage they are spending a few hours a day together. The first hour all pickle did was try and hump him. Now its becoming really funny as the little guy has taken the house over. He has no problem with pickle coming in and laying down. But pickle being 11 months old is being dominant to him. I just watched Kink-Ko walk out of the house, Pickle start to snort and be a brat. Now Kink-Ko is half the size if not smaller then Pickle. He took one look at pickle and head butted him. I never seen a piggie jump as high as pickle did. He ran to the other side of the cage and give me the most pathetic "mommmmmyyyyy!" look I've ever seen.
I've been watching them carefully have have a spray bottle on hand incase of a fight but all in all Pickle is the only who has a problem and its nothing to get worried about. I just think another week or so and he'll be just fine with the idea of a little brother. Kink-Ko could careless if pickle has his panties in a knot. For the most part the little guy lets him hump him and just munches away on some hay.
