New born piglets!

I posted on Dec 27th about some piggies that I had rescued, having been kept in filthy conditions by a back-yard breeder (http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=60126). 'Daddy' has already been neutered and will have a permanent new home ... with my own sows!

I'd never seen a pregnant piggie before, but as soon as I laid eyes on Myrrh (now Myrtle) I just knew! And indeed ... less than 2 weeks later and we have 4 mini-pigs! We don't know exactly when they arrived ... but all seems to be well I'm a proud piggie granny! LOL!

aww they are so cute. I got a guinea pig from the pet shop last feburary and didnt know she was pregnant and in the march she give birth to 2 beautiful babies. Hope mam and babies are good?

As far as I can tell, yes. All moving around happily, eyes bright etc. Saw most of them nibbling a bit of hay and heard them 'talking'. They are SO CUTE! I just can't believe how much they can do, compared to bunnies who are basically wriggly things in a nest for 2 weeks first! lol! x

OOO OOOO OOOOOOOOOOOO They are luvverly. Ive got all this to come. My Boofle is expecting. Babies are moving about like a marching army in her tum. Very unplanned and very unexpected.
