New brown pee

Stripe used to get a tablespoon of pellets and his pee always had calcium.

For the past month he's only gotten 10 pellets a day and a urinary cookie with dandelion.

I've noticed some are still calcium with just white. Some are a light brown.

Since the white ones have no brown does this just mean the brown ones are oxidation. Maybe if it was blood it would be in the white ones too?

How do you collect the pee

I think if you put him in his piggy carrier before long he should have a wee. I hope everything is OK with Stripe

You're very welcome. Sir George has been prone to uti's all his life. He has now been diagnosed with sterile cystitis. The vet suggested the dip sticks so I can check at home for blood. It's very reassuring and doesn't cost nearly as much as getting it checked by the vet.
