I finally saved up enough money to buy my biggest girls a Nero 4 cage. The cage they were in before wasn't really big enough for them as they are huge, Lottie weighs in at over 3lb!

I left the huge platform in for a house but lily seems to have taken that over and is causing fights shoving the others out so i may have to put an open bed in for them, they cant get up the platform anyway as they are old and fat. Lottie is maybe 3 or 4 and lily and Lola are maybe 2.

These girls were my first rescue piggies and they are mother and daughters, they were all advertised up for sale by their owner and lily and Lola were sold on before i could get them, i later see an advert from the person that bought them the next day saying that his son wasn't treating them right and that they were free, so i promptly collected them lol. They were in a cage together with no hay and just newspaper on the floor which was soaked the poor things were wet through. I then see the woman who was first selling them offering Lottie for sale again at £3 and she was living in a cat carrier! so i got her that night and reunited them.

I decided that i wouldn't rehome them and the least i could do for the poor piggies is let them live out the rest of their lives in luxury, that was last year anyway and they are doing great now, they are still nervous but are very friendly when they are out of the cage and will sit happily and munch cucumber on your knee.
