Hello everyone! So tomorrow I am getting a new piggy. We’re looking at two and I want them both. The one we have was gotten from a pet store. And we are looking at two from a humane society near me. I met both of them today. The one we have has been by himself for a little while because we don’t have many near me. Even the pet shop hasn’t gotten any for a while. But the humane society just got a few that were surrendered by their owners. The younger one is about 6 months. The older one is a full grown adult. But they don’t know how old he is exactly. I am trying to decide if I should keep the older one in a separate place or if they should all three be together. I don’t want to overwhelm the piggy we have (Stitch). The younger one would be for my sister. The older one would be mine. Stitch is my brother’s. I just need advice on if I should introduce all three of them or if I should keep the older one in my own room. The other two would be in our family room. I am still a new piggy owner and I haven’t done the dating or bonding process. Any advice or tips would be great!

You can’t keep three males pigs living together. Male pigs (boars) need to kept in pairs only. Three or more boars living together will fight.
Do the two new ones already live together? If they do then that is fine and they will need to stay together and be kept totally separate from the one you already have. The three can never meet. If they don’t already live together, then you need to go through the entire bonding process.
Your pig ideally needs a male friend of his own when you can find one.
Boars: Teenage, Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?

So we went to the humane society today and they said that the older one is actually very territorial and shouldn’t be paired with others. So he’s actually in his own place. We introduced the two younger ones today and they Are doing okay. Just very curious of each other.
