Hi so today I have done my second extension on my c&c cage. The second in a week My boys are loving their bigger cage. And my kiddies love that they can watch them eat. My ginger piggy has already found if he goes upstairs and starts weeking the kids will bring him a little snack and give him a fuss. He also can watch us eat at the table now so as soon as I sit the weeking begins Just wanted to ask if the cage I have now is big enough to add another piggy?
Thank you in advance

The cage looks great!

Three boars is a very tricky combination and if the bonding fails, you could end up with three pigs that cannot live together. I'd say that if your two are happy, leave them as a pair.

Having experience of trios, I'd say a 5x2 C&C is preferred. Upstairs levels are a bonus really and personally, I wouldn't count that as regular floor space (but that's just my opinion of course).

It's surprising how much 3 pigs can fill a cage - especially big boys!

Your cage looks great by the way!

I agree with the above - I would not try to introduce another pig to my 2 boars - if you want to get another pig you could look at making the "2nd" level a full 2x4 and getting another 2 pigs to live separately on their own level (that's the good thing about c&c cages) :) just an option if you want to expand the piggy family.

I wouldn't put more than 2 pigs in a 4x2 either, but that's just my opinion.
