So I promised my OH when we moved into our own house that I got my guinea pigs he could have chickens as he has loads at his dads house,
then he wanted to hatch his own and it all got too complicated and he was fussy so I said no he couldnt have them!
well thats was about 5 months ago that I got my piggies now and I have finally given to his begging!
So he now has 3 baby chicks!
they are currantly living in a guinea pig cage on snuggle heat pads for a few weeks untill they are bigger and warmer outside.
The OH is one happy bunny now! hes like mother hen, I'm surprised hes not sitting on them too lol

we have a Coucou Maran, a Bluebell and a Syston Black tip, all hybrids
 
they are always chirping and if they cant see you they make a loud squarking noise! but they are like babies really, crying out for mummy (the OH lol) and they sleep alot
 
Aw so cute!

I really want to rescue some ex-batteries when we get a bigger place. Love chickens, love eggs too hehe!

Bluebells are beautiful chooks! I have two chickens as well, called Vanilla and Olive. Olive is a Whitwell Black (her breed is also known as a 'Miss Pepperpot', 'Rhode Rock', 'Bovans Nera') and Vanilla is a Whitwell White. My two are hybrids too.

Awwwwwwwwwww gorgeous! I loooove baby chicks they are so lovely!

We have chickies too, five hens (one ex bat, two hatched, and two adopted) and a cockerel :))

aww love your pic of your chickys, they are very cute but they do make alot of noise! but the OH is happy, keeps him quite!
