New Ferplast Arriving Today!

Not sure if anyone remembers the thread but a while ago I posted about upcoming work to the roof right above my boy's cage and what I should do with the boys whilst it's going on. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and invest in a ferplast 120 as thought it handy to have a spare cage anyway. So, it's arriving today - which just happens to be cage clean day! I'm wondering if it'd be ok to set it up and put the boys in there while I do the cage clean rather than their usual pet carrier? I want to cause as little stress as possible when they finally have to move into the ferplast so I don't know if it's better for them to get used to the cage first or to just wait until they officially move into it in case they start thinking that they're only ever in the small cage for a short time and so they'd get more stressed at being left there for longer than expected?

Not sure if any of that made much sense but if anyone understands it please let me know what you think - thanks

Oh I'm sure they will be fine with being in there for a cage clean! I pop mine into all kinds of different spaces depending on whats going on when I am cleaning their cages.
