Junior Guinea Pig
We have been to the rescue centre today with our very lonely and sad girl (her companion has passed away). She is a big girl, 5 and a half years old and we picked a very sweet little 2 year old sow for her. They got on ok at the rescue centre but now we are home the new girl is being aggressive. She will chatter her teeth, nose nudge and even nip, mainly around the face, while Liquorice screams loudly and just sits there, makes no or little attempt to run away. We know this could be normal behaviour but we are worried that damage could be done.
They are currently in separate cages and we need some advice please on what the best way to introduce them is, as putting them into neutral territory hasn't worked.
