My new Piggie is called Chewbacca. He just came in yesterday. He is very frisky and is not eating NONE of his pellets or his water. He eats his hay and carrots, broccoli and cucumbers. What should i do?

@NotYourSofia I have moved your post to an area of the forum it will get views in

Does he have a water bottle?

Is he eating his hay also?

Thanks.
Yes, he does have a water bottle. He eats his hay, he loves it more than me! In the breeder they had bowls of water, and when i asked the lady, she said that even thought they were drinking in a bowl they used to drink in bottle. So yeah, that's the problem.
HELP!

Mine have always had a heavy bowl of water wouldn’t use a bottle as where I got them from used a bowl, I tried a bottle but worried like you and gave them a bowl. Would it be so bad if they used a bowl. Were they on pellets? I’ll post a pic of her at it lol

You can certainly give him a bowl. Ask the breeder what pellets he has been eating and try him with some of the same ones. How old is he? And is he alone? Young piggies (and piggies of all ages to be honest) settle much quicker when they have a companion.

I am now in the position where I have to buy two different types of pellets, 3 of my pigs will only eat waggs, but one of my piggies wont touch them and will only eat expensive pellets :D
So this is good advice to check what pellets the breeder was using.

Thanks!
I changed it to a bowl and he is now drinking!
THANK YOU!

Really pleased, just to add mine would never have pellets, I tried and tried they were on muesli when I got them and so I gave in and they had muesli. X

Why don't you mix the pellets & slowly wean him off, of the expensive one.
The breeder should have given you some of the pellets he gave the piggies then you could have mixed in those
