We have just ordered a new guinea pig shed, hopefully it will be built and up in 6 weeks.
It will be 20ft by 9ft, it will contain 5x 6ft by 4 ft runs with a 3 ft passageway with a 3ft door at each end. It will have a Perspex window running the length of the 20ft wall.
The floor will be wooden and I am wondering if I should put down Lino or something, what does everybody else do.

Wow! I thought my shed was a pretty big one (10x6 ). That's a HUGE shed!

Lino would be the best option for a shed that big. Vinyl tiles are another option, but I've found in my hutches they've come up and broken quite easily... so lino or even printed PVC for lighter (animal) use would be suitable! I'm going to use this http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/printed-pvc-fabric-53994 for parts of my shed to protect the wood. Might be an option for you but as the shed is so big, lino will probably work out easier (more expensive though) as you can get much much bigger pieces of it and can even probably get one cut to fit!

It'll make cleaning the bedding of your choice a lot easier if you put something like lino of vinyl (not sure if that comes on a roll like lino as a cheaper floor alternative - ask a carpet/flooring place as they will know) down. You can spray/wipe it down much easier than cleaning the wood on the floor. :)

oh my ! thats massoosiiiff :))

Yes definately put lino down its amazing - you can sweep it very easily and also wash it down with animal disinfectant which is proving very handy when i bath the piggys in theyre lol. I have a mop & bucket for in theyre now lol

You must promise to put pics up asap :))
