I just got two new guineas, and one I noticed has something wrong with her eye and ear on one side. She was wiggling so much when I got her yesterday, that I didnt notice it..She does not seem to be in any pain, so id like to know if anyone could help me find out what it is without going to a vet.

I can't see the photos, but we really can diagnose anything over the internet, so the best thing you can do is see a guinea-savvy vet. Eye problems in particular need prompt attention as they can get very bad, very quickly. Please could you tell us whereabouts you are as we have forum members from all over the world and we can give country-specific advice if needed (everywhere is different!)

I'm from Clarksville, tn. does anyone know what kind of rates they would charge just to have a vet look at her?

You will have ring up the clinic and ask them what they charge for a consultation; it can vary enormously. If you have got your piggies from a pet shop, you may be able to reclaim the cost from the shop - at least you can try!

Sadly, we cannot see the pictures, but if there is blood or a blueish spot or film over the eyeball (which means that you are dealing with an ulcerating injury to the eye) or a noticeably sunken or protruding eyeball, a vet visit is necessary. The same, if an eye is very crusty.
If necessary, you can copy/paste pictures from a public online setting into your post.

I assume that that is Tennessee? You can add your state to your details by clicking on your username on the top bar, then go to personal details and scroll down to location. That way, we can always tailor any advice to what is available and doable in the US straight away.
