You will find these guides here helpful; they tell you step by step what to do and what behaviours to look out for, from the preparation to the end of the dominance phase about 2 weeks after the introduction.

Please make sure that you double check the gender of both piggies before you introduce them (mis-sexing is sadly not at all uncommon) and consider whether it is better to conduct a quarantine or whether you'd prefer to risk having to treat both piggies for any illness that one of the could come with. You can reclaim any vet cost incurred in the first 2-3 weeks after purchase as exposure and infection must have happened at the pet shop.
