Hi I just got a new piggy today and I know I didn’t introduce them right because by the time I had the cage clean I had to head to work. So I put the new one in with the one I have had for two weeks. Now the one I have had is chasing the new one around and not letting her be in any of the hidies or eat really. What is the best way to fix this. Because I will be getting my other piggie back soon too. I had to take her to the pet store for them to take her to the vet. So please any advice is welcomed(as long as it is nice).

@Nicole1997 So you have 3 pigs? What sex are they? If any of them is a boy is he neutered?

Introductions need to be done on neutral territory and at once, not in stages.

Split them up and bond them all when you have the time and the space.

Thanks and at this moment I only have all girls and they are around the same age not over a month or so. One of my piggies is at the vet and idk when she will be home. And I took the new one away for a hour and took them somewhere the one I have had longer hasn’t been very much. And they seem to be okayish but my new one isn’t eating her veggie and idk what to do about that either. I even took her out of the cage to feed her to see if it was the other one bugging her and that is why she wasn’t eating.

As long as she is eating hay and pellets she will be fine. Hoping everyone will get along. Do you have hidiesfor everyone? When my boys were getting snippy with each other I made sure there were two food dishes, water bottles, and hay racks all on opposite sides of the cage. It made a huge difference!

Yes I have two bowls for food and a hat rack and another bowl for hay and two water bottles and two hidies normally I have three but I took one out and I haven’t added nutmegs favorite Blanca back in yet either it is in the dryer.

They seem to getting along now. I am very happy. Thank you all for your help.
