So I finally got a friend for 4 year old Luna. She's been on her own since I had to have Ginny PTS just as lockdown started.
10 month old Lavender (previously Evie) joined us from the Potteries rescue centre on Sunday. They had a pretty uneventful date at the foster carers house then she came home with us.

She has huge ears and big feet.

Half an hour after she arrived she made herself comfy.

It was all a bit tense for the first 36 hours as Lavender threw her weight around, reducing Luna to hiding in a corner trying not to be noticed.

Then Luna got fed up and started to tell Lavender she'd had enough and slowly started to act normal again.

I felt it was safe to put the litter tray back in today (which has only one entrance) and they both sat in it together happily munching hay.

Tonight, Lavender learned to recognise the sounds of veggie time. She got a bit over excited.

I finally saw Lavender using the water bottle today, I was starting to think she was a camel :xd:

I ordered some more hay online, but managed to over order slightly

I've now written on them so I remember one box is 5kg

What a beautiful girl Lavender is.
Congratulations.
Glad Luna has a new friend and I hope they will quickly settle down together.

Aww Lucky Luna, Lavender looks like a lovely Lady and I love her name! Atleast you won’t be running out of hay anytime soon!

Lavender got the zoomies this morning. I'd forgotten how fast youngsters can move!

Do you have Webcam for them? It’s something I have thought about but not sure what kind to get!

Yes I have pig cam lol. It's from Arlo but the model I have is a bit outdated now. The thing to be careful of when choosing one is think about how you want to access it, and how long the footage is held for. A lot of companies charge you a monthly fee to keep the footage on their server. Mine has 7 days footage free, and you can download anything you want to keep. The night vision on mine is rubbish, so that's something else you might want to investigate if it is important to you.

Ahh great, I will have a look into it! I have seen some that store the footage but it’s not secure so I defiantly didn’t want that! I just want to see what they get up to at night time 😂
