Hey,
I posted about 2 weeks ago about how to care for a pig after its friend had died
(http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=96057).
I'm pleased to say Hunny is doing very well, and now has 2 new friends, Scampi and Mango.
Both Scampi and Mango are from a rescue centre. Scampi is 1 and Mango is 3.
Scampi's owners didn't even name her. They simply called her "the guinea pig". They didn't care for her at all and as a result when she was brought into the centre the fur around her bum was all matted together with poo. It was so bad they had to shave her
Mango has recently suffered bereavement too after the death of her sister. She had more caring owners, who simply don't want another guinea pig so asked for her to be re homed somewhere she could make new friends.
However her owners did fail at really having any interaction with her at all. She's a bit on the plump side, as she was never let out for run arounds or anything.
Hunny
Scampi
Mango
All of them
