Hi..i have two four year old bonded boars outside and very happy. I have been asked to adopted a young boar which will be outside in a seperate hutch (6mths) and getting him a friend. My comcerns are relating to my old boys. Will they be upset and start to fight if they can see the other boar or smell them? Thanks for any advice..

They should be able to live fine nearby each other.... just don’t introduce them. We have friends who had two pairs of boars in same room two on top and two on bottom.

Welcome To the forum by the way, what are your boys names? Be lovely to see some photos of them.

I have 3 pairs of boars in the same room, they are absolutely fine. They love to look out for each other through the bars at floor time and have a friendly chat. Only one pair at a time are actually lose in the room they don't meet other than through the bars of the cage.

Thank you for your advice puts my mind at rest now need to prepare for this dude...i guinnea sat him in may hes 6 mths old..
