Possible uri, hello first time poster, i recently got my first piggies who i fell in live with. (Snickers & resse) Resse is showing no sign of being sick but snickers is constantly sneezing. I took them to a very highrated vet he told me i Had nothing to worry about their just getting use to the new enviorment (i bought them at the pets mart i know thats bad) its been 3 days and snickersis still sneezing and now has a whote booger looking luquid below her eye. Resse still display ld no sign of being sick. Niether piggy has breathing problem, loss of appitite, hunched back anything else. Should i see a 2nd vet? Am i overworrying? I would apprecitae any advice.

White liquid from the eye can just be their cleaning fluid which makes every owner freak out the first time they see it.

Where are you based? Country and county so we can try and guide with finding a cavy savvy vet for their view though it has been known for guinea pigs to have allergies/sensitivities to certain bedding etc

Sorry posted at same time as your photo. That looks more like gunk from not cleaning themselves fully which could indicate a uri

I am in united states, ohio , hamilton county. And i am using paper bedding at the moment

Unfortunately it looks like there are a shortage of vets in your state. Here's the list from guinea lynx
Veterinarians: Ohio - Guinea Lynx Records

Another alternative is if you know any local shelters that deal with small animals to ask what vets they use. My usual vet is not an exotics specialist but they are a bit of a small animal specialist so they know more about piggies than your usual vet

^^^^ ty so helpful I have to work soon so hopfully she will be okay I'm feeling very optimistic as their in the same xage (no choice at the time) and reese is completly fine ( shes even chutting atm) and snickers apptite is huge! And showing no other signs of sickniss
