I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by farms. I made an effort to make friends with a farmer who supplied me with lovely hay for the boys. Unfortunately, he's moved on to bigger pastures and I've had to make friends with another farmer (all of who I met in the butchers. Seems to be the place for farmers gossips.)
This new hay has a totally different smell and I was worried the pigs would turn their nose up at it (very spoilt).... 20140428_174928.webp I think that chooken leg rests my worried little head!

Awwww, he's a delicious little piggy! I could tickle his little leg! It indeed looks like a chicken leg! Yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy, YUM!

Lucky you to have a supply of fresh hay for your boys. In my experience, all hay is scrummy, regardless of where it's from...or so my boys inform me! Especially my Elliot. He's a bit of a hay connoiseur!

I fully believe in farm hay because it's stored correctly in barns & not in sealed plastic bags which don't allow it to breath. Mine make beds in it & it's all over the floor of their run so wherever they are they can just lie down & chomp at hay. I have a really good supplier who grows it for her horse & pony & she sells the excess. Obviously from the look of your piggy, he enjoys it too.

I once bought them hay from a pet shop (it was a bit dusty and dry) they wouldn't touch it unless they had to! Since then I've always gone to the farm. They know what they're doing! Paws up for farmers!
