Hi, I'm Kimberly, and I just joined this site today.

I have two guinea pigs, Daisy (4ish months) and Cocoa (7 weeks.) I've become an addict very fast, and am always looking up stuff about them, and messing with their cage to make it the best I can for them. As of now, they have a 2x4 C&C with a 1x2 loft, but in a few months when we finish out the garage we'll be making it bigger, and hopefully getting a 3rd.

Welcome to the forum! Be great to see some pigtures of your girls

lol! They are VERY addictive aren't they - I do believe they are the perfect pet! I have lived with cats all my life but have gone right off them lately with the amount of dead (and live) creatures that are coming in through my cat flap! I can see myself having lots of piggies and no cats in another 10 years or so!

Hi and welcome!

Daisy and Coco have certainly got a big pad!

Please be aware that there is a higher chance of ending up with an outsider problem of some in a trio than in any other bonding. If you can afford it, upgrade to either another (younger) couple of bonded sows to create a mini group or try to find a place where your two girls can meet and greet any new girls to see how they can get on in order to avoid any manjor headaches for yourself.

There are a couple of recommended piggy rescues listed for Indiana; I'm not sure whether you can get to them, though! http://www.guinealynx.info/rescue_organizations.html#IN
