wow, its really a very different kind of cage to the sort that I am used to seeing, it looks very stylish! The lights are a nice touch.

Thank you goth mummy! It's so strange how these things are different in every country. In the Netherlands this is a very common type of "cage". And for us it's unusual to see a c&c cage (though i like the idea of it, you can change shapes and add space whenever you want) But i looked into it and the shipping costs are absolutely ridiculous! We don't have an importer in our country so it's impossible to get it over here..
But i am very happy with our new cage! It blends into our furniture real nice, and the lights are very cosy in the evening

WOW! I want that that cage looks brilliant! I wish I could have one! Your piggys will have a real piggy palace? Can I ask what bedding is inside the cage as it looks good?

That looks great :)

When I was finally allowed to have my piggies living indoors, we were going to convert our old wooden unit in to a cage but we couldn't be bothered in the end and brought a cage instead.

I take my hat off to you

Sure you can, the bedding is called Bedxcel. It's shredded pieces of cardboard. I was a bit afraid that it was going to be too hard but it feels realy soft. I've heard great experiences with this, it should absorb real well, the poop just falls through to the bottom, and most important it's 100% dust free.
It also encourages natural behaviour because they can dig and play with it.
It's imported from Scotland, i'm lucky i can buy it nearby my home because Belgium only has 2 dealers.

Thank you everyone! I'm also very happy with it! We just got our pigs! They are hiding in their hut right now but i will post some pictures when they have relaxed a bit.
They are 2 us teddy boars called Gus and Goofy! :-)

I didn't realise you were in Belgiam. I am half Belgiam. I'll try your bedding.

Wow very stylish! I bet you're so excited to get your fur babies. Looking forward to seeing them! :)

Looks great….my only concern is there doesn't seem much air flow when doors are shut + lights = hot piggies.

It's nice to see something different! I must admit I was expecting to see reptiles inside (I think it's the lights and cardboard) I hope your piggies enjoy it, that's a great idea for the bedding! I look forward to seeing your piggies!

The lights are LED, so it stays cold. And the plexi glas has a gap of 6 cm on each side (8 gaps) so i think it's enough airflow..

That's very small for the ventilation. This is worse than keeping them in an aquarium. An aquarium at least has an open top. Can you replace the plexiglas with wires?

I could do that yes, but i'm going to wait a few weeks before i make any changes, want to see if it really doesn't have enough ventilation. I think the best way to check that is by the smell? Though that will be difficult cause i clean every day
