Hi all, so my awesome OH has worked near enough all weekend on the new batchelor pad! I can only take credit for making 10 legs, painting and decorating - he did all the hard work LOL. The only thing we bought for the house itself was the cat scratch post for the ramp - all wood, perspex, pet friendly wood stain and correx is second hand - salvaged from the sheds from his parents farm.

4ft x 2ft 2" lower living area with a 2ft x 2ft upper hay loft / dining area.

Walter using the perspex side as a hand rail to get down the ramp LOL!! :(|)

Still want to add some more decoration to it - fake foliage to the front side and to the board on the hay loft just to add some colour but i am dead chuffed with it especially as it cost us just a fiver for the cat post! Big public thankyou to OH! x)

This is awesome! My homeade cage looks like a peice of crap compared to yours! hahah

Woweeeee
It looks designer... If something like that was in the shops you can see it costing 100's of pounds...!
It is fantastic...!
x

:(|) Brilliant - I love home made set ups drool
I bought some little hanging potted plants (silk) from ebay for our set up - was sooo chuffed I'd found the perfect things until I was paying and noted they were from Japan mallethead Cost me £20 for postage and £17 for the stuff ! Ha, serves me right.
You'll have sooo much fun adding bits n bobs to make their new home personal. It looks very retro and well done both, your piggies will love living there :)p
I love it :))

thank you! yeah i have done that before with other items - then they have been caught at customs and had to pay an extra £15 on top as they "checked the item"! i dont want them ruddy well checking my item LOL!

That looks amazing, Ive created a lot of space with a normal cage too (see photos) but Lacey never seems to go in her cage much anymore lol she loves running around

He should make them and sell them, custom made with colours etc, I would certainly buy one....

oh cool, i will have to have a look at yours! My two when i put them in the run in the shed dont run around a lot lol they seem to gravitate to one area and stay there! but i think at least if their indoor house has enough room to charge about in then they have the option.

LOL! he is good when it comes to making things but his job means he is up at 4:30am and not normally back from work til about 6/7pm so i am very grateful he gave up this weekend to make this for me and my piggies! x

oh wow, thats cool! I love it, I would totally buy one of those too!

that is amazing but i no my hubbies capabilities and safety has to come first:)) i love the one of him trying out the handrail drooldrooldrool

Woweeeee! This is brilliant, what a clever OH you have! The piggies will have a fab time in there, make sure you update us when you have put the finishing touches to it!

Ps, the handrail pigture is absolutely amazing! Bless him!:))
