Hey guys! I recently just built a C and C cage the last one I had was a bit small. It was an okay size but it was a midwestern cage and wanted to do better. I did the measurements right but I have the inability to cut a straight line 😂😂 so one side came out slightly shorter in width so I'll have to rebuild it. But I just wanted to share! Any comments about things I can add to make my cage more fun please comment!

@Piper&Kierstein They may benefit from a towel or small fleece draping over a corner of the cage so they can hide.

I reuse any cardboard boxes I get and make houses for them to go inside. They love chewing on cardboard.

I'd probably put a litter tray or something under the hay pile. My boys sit in the hay and pee and poop all over it so it'll ger really stinky and stick to the fleece. I leave my hay areas without fleece and use a puppy pad with a bit of wood shavings on top, and then the hay. It's easier to clean out that way.

How about putting in a few snuggle tunnels or a chew tube or even a length of 4" pipe. My son got me a length of 4" pipe out of a skip when he was working on a building site.

That's interesting. I havent really had a problem with hay stinking yet. They seem to love it on the ground as they are able to dig underneathe at their convenience. I tried a hay roller but they didnt like it.

I've been thinking about tunnels! But I've been wondering if there is a better way to make them rather than buy them. I'll look at PVC pipes. Thank you!:)

I put a layer of cat litter underneath the hay, it makes it easy to clean out as you can just tip it out (we use a hay tray)
It’s a very nice cage!

Lovely new cage! Lovey piggies! Can we have some piggie close ups?
The small one is kierstein. Shes the one with brown spots and piper is the bigger one(: piper definitely likes being picked up more than kierstein.

Lovely cage, that fleece is gorgeous! Where's it from? For hay I use cat litter tray with wood shavings and large pile of hay on top. Fleece curtains are a big hit! (Pinterest photos) cardboard boxes make great hides, paper bags with the handles are good. As others have said, maybe a chew tunnel, can be found at the round for like £1.50 I think, but apart from that, a great space for your piggies!

Thank you for this post! I will certainly look into that stuff. And thank you! I got the fleece at a store called Joanns I live in the US.

I've seen about Joanna's store a lot on here for fleece, the patterns look absolutely lovely!
