Hi everyone!
If any of you have read my other posts under behaviour, you will know I have aquired a 6 month old piggy called Lennie. I love him! :smitten: Anyway, the hutch that came with him from his previous uninterested owner is too small in my opinion and I am scouting around for a new one. I want a double decker as I hope to soon get a little male friend for him. Some I have seen on the web have pvc coated bottoms, which sounded to me like a good idea (easy to clean etc) but the same hutch on another site states pvc lined bottom discontinued, now wooden. I wondered if the pvc coated ones were not a good idea for some reason? Has anyone got a hutch like that and which is best for piggies, pvc or wooden?
Thanks all!
Fiona

i was looking to get one (rabbit shack hutch) with pvc floor and was told by one supplier they had been discontinued as they had started 'bubbling' and were only avail with wooden floor.
Hope this helps,
owl xx

Oh thank you, maybe thats why then. As long as it wasnt dangerous to the piggies-thats what I was worried about. Perhaps if they get too wet they bubble? (not the piggies, the floor!)

i have the sage house from P@H i will post a pic.

Thats the one I was looking at Tom Cat, how many piggies live in yours? Is it ok for two?
