new hutch too small?

okay if you have been following zoe's post in health you will know that when the barrier seperating her and jessie comes down she will squeak for no reason and won't come out from under the hay to eat and drink. so for 8 months they have been living in a 4ft cage halved up. felt so sorry for them bought of ebay a new hutch which is 91cms long (link is zoe's post in health) but for nearly 3ft it is tiny. should i after spending over $100.00 on this cage get jessie another one? any help, advice or suggestions much appreciated. Hi Mary 4x2 is fine for 2 pigs sharing together 3x2 for one pig on her own. So if you wanted to divide a cage it would have to be 6x2. Why not try C&C? :)
 
i don't think C&C's are available here in oz and postage from UK and USA would be a nightmare :o :o :o both cages are wooden this cage of jessie's is 85cms X 45cms it was from ebay oz and said it was suitable for 2 piggies yeah right :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: i will just get the link for you, hang on a tick please O0 okay back again here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...m=320263150885&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=011 and it was $49.50 for cage and $69.95 for delivery, it lcearly saids the measurements are Size: 91.6(L) x 45(W) x 50.3(H) cm i think they have included the roof which overlaps the cage as bit on each end. i just don't know what to do as we went without to get this cage and now fear it is too small :'( :'( :'(
 
Hi sending you hugs for a change since you send them to everyone. I'm not very good with measurements so can't tell whether the new cage is larger than what she has been in, I feel for you there is nothing worse than scrimping for something and then finding yourself dissappointed. However measure the cage yourself and if it is not the dimensions the seller posted dispute it with them and through ebay/paypal dispute centre. Wishing you luck and sending love to Zoe :) ;)
