Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere! I have tried to look through the forum however I couldn't find anything and don't want to take any risk.

I put in a new patch of lawn at the end of May for the Piggies as the rest of my garden was being taken over by clover and I couldn't keep on top of it (And of course did not want to use any treatment).

I used the following seed (Gro sure - thought it was best to put the name incase anyone has a similar query in the future) to do this:

I regret buying fast acting seed as I now realise that this may have been treated and may not be safe for guinea pigs.

Is it best to avoid putting the girls on this new grass until next summer?

I agree with Claire W - most grass seed has fertiliser added to make it grow so best to wait for next year !
You’ll have a lovely lawn tho 👍
