Hello, l am new here. Advice please, sadly one of my three piggies Mabel died on Thursday, l could and no doubt will talk of Mabel a lot on this site but for now l must dry my tears and think of Martha and Maisie. Should l move/alter their cage layout, maybe not all at once, had conflicting advice about this. Also read too late that l should have left Mabel in with them to grieve a while but l took her out and cuddled her, they seem to be ok eating, not really into toys just eat poop, you all know that.

I’m sorry for your loss

Leave the cage as is, don’t even do a full cage clean just yet (just remove poops). They will still smell her and can be comforted by that.

Make sure to weigh them as part of routine care so you can ensure they are definitely still eating enough hay.

I’ve added a guide in below to help further
