The lady I got my two boys from said they had a carrot a day and a cucumber a week? Is cucumber limited? X

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
You will get lots of friendly advice here.

The best guide to a healthy guinea pig diet is here;

Recommendations For A Balanced General Guinea Pig Diet

But to answer your question directly carrot is quite sweet, and should be limited to once a week - I certainly wouldn't feed an entire carrot every day (although the guinea pigs probably wouldn't mind!).
And cucumber is great, but I feed a piece about 1cm thick to each of my pigs per day. Unlimited cucumber could cause an upset stomach.

I hope that helps.

Thank you very much I have bought kale, parsley and coriander is that OK to give in moderation?

Yeah that sounds good . Maybe some celery and peppers too :) try and vary the diet so they don't become bored or picky c

Feed you r piggies:

Carrot
Cucumber
Grass(they can eat loads and not get fat but they may get picky if the grass was picked a while ago!)
Bread
Toast
Bannana(not too much it's considered a treat)
Rose pettles(considered a treat)
Don't forget they love their food mix you can buy from shops

NEVER FEED PIGGIES:
Tomato and tomato leaves
Buttercups(make sure there's none in the grass!)

Just give them a little stick of it and make sure they get to run outdoors :own:

Please do not feed your piggies bread and toast, this is not a natural diet for them. There are a great number of fruits, vegetables and salads that piggies can eat so have a look at the linked threads below for some ideas. Your piggies might be reluctant at first if they have only ever had cucumber and carrots but persevere and leave the veg in the bowl near them for as long as you can bear (I had a piggy who finally ate a shrivelled day old piece and pepper but after that it was his favourite).

Forgot to say you can feed tomatoes but never the tomato leaves or stalks. They are from the same family as peppers so while the fruit is tasty the leaves and stalks are poisonous
