NEW EVERYTHING! I have a new 2ft by 4ft cage and inside that cage is new bedding, two new PIGloo's, a new rainbow tunnel, new food bowls, a new hay rack (it's actually a bird treat thing but it's HUGE and it's working perfectly for $3) new hay, and the best part of all... a NEW PIGGY!
This piggy has no name (yet) he is alllll black, not an ounce of another color on him anywhere. Since he is new he's still very skittish but he does come out and is eating and drinking and chewing on the new toys in the cage as well.
Thanks to everyone who helped me prepare for this introduction day things went very smoothly! There was no towel intervention and no bonding bath or anything they were just put in the new cage and they clicked. They have been chattering away (in a good way) and popcorning. There has been quite a bit of chasing on Sweets part and rumbling without a strutt, but the little black piggy is just running away and letting Sweets be the boss. I think the piggle is still very young but I honestly don't know how old this little guy is. I'm going to guess between 4-5 wheeks. They both have their own pigloo and they have been in their own, they don't snuggle into one yet. There was no lunging, biting, or even nipping going on. So other then the chasing there wasn't any violence. I am SOOO GLAD! I can't wait to give him his name, but I am waiting to see how he acts when he's a bit more comfortable in his new surroundings. So here are the pictures of all that is new. Any name suggestions are welcome and who knows you may be lucky enough to pick the name for the new little one.
