Well I tried to look at rescues for a friend for Alby, nearest recommended rescue was over 60 miles away, and I also posted on here but no responses so I have adopted a lone boar from "adoption for pets" I was in to get some nuggets for the boys and looked in the adoption section and buddy was there. He's very afraid just now so can't take pics just letting him settle. So excited. :yahoo: He's adorable, kind of light ginger on top and white underneath. With a crest ontop of his head. He's tiny compared to Alby. Lol. (They are separate just now, till buddy settles.)

Hiya, We would recommend that you quarantine Buddy for a Couple of weeks, before you introduce him to Alby.. just in case... But that doesn't stop you taking some pigtures of him when he settles ...

He's in the other Half of the c&c cage beside Alby. I have put fudge into the rabbit 120 just now as a temporary measure. (I'm hoping to get fudge a 4x2 c&c built but grids r so so expensive just now.) I've put cardboard along the sides of the cage as I'm scared buddy will fit through the grids. Also there r towels covering the divider. They said to let him settle a week as he's been on his own in adoption bit for over a week. Will I still leave him a week alone? Or 2 the full weeks? I really hope he gets on ok with Alby.

Ideally for quarantine to be useful they need to be in separate rooms or airspace. 2 weeks seperategives you enough time to make sure your new liitle guy doesn't have any unwanted infections or visitors he might pass on to Alby and for you to get to know him better before you try introductions.

If he's already in close quarters (even if separated) then quarantine doesn't work so well as bugs can still be passed one but it's still worth doing just to make sure.

Good luck with the introductions when you get to that. Just remember lots of spoace, no hideys with only one exit and have a dustpan ready to break up any arguments.... Paws crossed for you!

He's lovely, I hope the bonding goes well. Agree with the others on quarantine.

Gorgeous! Good luck, theres plenty of advice on here but please feel free to pm me or merrypip if you need any help with introductions, leaving the division in place for a couple of hours works well so they can get used to each other x

I just had wee Buddy out for a quick cuddle. I'm in love  I could cuddle him all day. He's adorable. I have just discovered that crested piggies DO NOT like their crest brushed, I was promptly head butted out the way. Lol. I think he's going to be a lively one. :P
I have a serious question though, what size does he need to be so I can uncover the c&c grids? I put cardboard round them as he's so tiny I'm scared he fits through the grids and I have my cage up on a table.
