Hi all, I'm a new owner to two boars and have taken a few photos of the little beauties for you to see :)

I've had them for just under a week, and they (mainly Biscuit) are still unsure of me, got more lovely pics of Patch, because he is a poser hehe.

Enjoy!x x)

x), they are gorgeous piggies and don't worry I'm sure they will come round soon :) ....

Welcome to the forum!

I hope they do, really want to give them a bath to freshen them up, but want to wait til they are used to me more so I don't frighten them the poor things...
I'm in love :)) x) They are adorable :)

Oh I'm so excited, I just made my living room into a playpen for them, with make shift hidey holes, tunnels etc... and they can still get into there little area and cage from there, there are running around like mad hehe, love it! Patch licked my feet haha, and I got it all on camera :D shame you can post video on here... but I'll get it up on fb soon and post a link :) xx

I took a video, and saw someone else has posted a you tube video on here somewhere, so Thought I'd try that... hope this works...

It's very dark as was taken late last night... but you can see them exploring a little :) mostly they just wanted to go back in there cage lol, (as they haven't EVER had any outside cage time before they came to me :( )

here goes...[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S2n-7aPoms"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S2n-7aPoms[/ame]

As you can see it's all make shift at the moment, cardboard boxes etc, but does the job until I buy new things for them :) but a new cage or C&C is the priority!

I changed it around a bit, and changed saw dust for towels and fleece, certainly looks better, not as messy, and they seem to like it :) (also so much easier to spot clean on the fleece :D )
Biscuit has learnt how to use the cage door as a ramp :D just waiting for Patch to try it out, he knows how, he climbed up but then backed down lol, Going to buy some of those log things to make it easier for them...:)

They certainly are :)
I've added a second house (card board box hehe) so they both have somewhere warm to sleep and burrow, as Biscuit doesn't like sharing lol. Patch can now use the door as a ramp :D so I have left it open so they can venture in and out as they please :) they look so much happier and more content, Biscuit still runs for shelter when I go near them, but he's not as jumpy, and Patch seems to like me as he actually comes up to me to see if I have anything for him lol :)
I tried them with parsley and coriander last night, they loved it! still don't like strawberries though... oh well more for Lixie! she loves them hehe.

AWW - your boys are so sweet and they have a great home!

Give them time, time, time to settle; they are prey animals and it is not so easy to win their trust when you area giant and smell like a predator! Some piggies will never love being picked up. If your boys have not been pets before they are new to being handled and having a human around.

Today for the first time they 'wheeked' at me when I was cutting up some veggies for them :D then they were really dissappointed when I leant in with the poopa scoopa first to clear the floor before putting their veggies down hehe, They practically jumped onto the scoop! was funny, but when they realised there wasn't food in it they soon ran away again lol.
They wheeked again for their evening veggies :) they seem alot happier!

They were pets before, but to an elderly neighbour of mine, she never really let them out of the cage or handled them much, or gave them enough fruit and veg etc, poor things didn't have enough space to move around, and had to share the water bottle and food bowl which is why I think Patch is skinnier!
Oh they have stopped fighting now too! I bathed them the other night and although they didn't like it at the time, they seem to be behaving better (same smell as each other?) and they seem not so scared of me which is great, I thought they'd hate me lol.
I am thinking of moving where their cage/space is though, as they are in my living room right now, as my bedroom is a bomb site (literally lol) but my daughter gets very loud during the day and I don't want them to be scared all the time, so when I sort my bedroom out and make a space they will be moved into there.
