New piggie room

Can we live with you whenever we go to America?! 😂 Although we usually go to the west side of the country. Never been to Kentucky and anywhere in the east!
Maybe I should put a sofa bed in there and I can offer a piggie bed and breakfast experience for all of my friends from across the pond.

Houses in some parts of the USA are so big up to the UK, I remember moving to Georgia and renting a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom end terrace townhouse with a private parking space and a private yard with a patio and barbecue and an outdoor swimming pool shared between just 20 houses... and a colleague asking us how it could possibly be big enough for a family of 3! The rent was $300 per month, we'd been paying £650 per month in Bath for a 2 room (no living room) attic flat!

Where in Georgia and when was this? Because I have a one bedroom apartment and I'm paying over four times as much.

It is interesting the differences. I really want to visit the UK some day.

Athens, GA. Back in 2011 :)
Ah. College town. So while there's a lot of demand for rental space, that's tempered by the fact that most of the customers can't pay a whole lot. Compare that with here in North Fulton County, with a lot of tech companies (the reason I moved down here in the first place). Lots of demand and the renters can afford to pay. Rent prices have also gone up a lot since 2012. I'm paying about 50% more than what I did when I first got here.

Am I dreaming? A house is being built in the States for guinea pigs that would house humans here 😂 What lucky piggies!
Sorry if I missed it above - how many piggies will live there?

Aw, there‘s quite a few lovely piggies, this is an extension so the lucky piggies can have more room 😆
