There is a lone boar piggie that someone is trying to get rid of as they are moving, his little friend died a few weeks ago but he seems to be doing great on his own and no one seems to be wanting him. I was thinking of getting him the only problem is I have 2 boars who are well bonded. Obviously the new one wouldn't be in the same cage but would be beside them and would be able to see them. I'm really in two minds as I don't won't this upsetting/ unsettling the other two or would they really mind?

Well I had a lovely bonded pair of boars and was in a similar situation to you only the new piggie was a female. She was in a bad situation living in a hamster cage so I couldn't leave her. I brought her home and obviously lived in a separate cage but the boys could see and smell her and they were fine. I got her a friend too and the boys were fine with her Aswell. Then one of my boys sadly passed away so I took my remaining boy to the rescue and was bonded with another boy and they have always been fine with the girls around. I now have 3 females and 2 males living in the same room, the cages aren't right next to eachother but are close enough to see them and when the boys have floor time they climb up and look into the girls cage but just have a little sniff and do their own thing, also when they go on the garden I put their runs right next to eachother and they have always been fine :) I would say though if it does start to cause problems you could always move him to another room or perhaps look into rehoming him if things did go wrong and upset your bonded pair. Hope all goes well whatever you decide :)

I've had 3 pairs of boys next to/above/below each other with no problems if they can't get to each other...when mine could see/touch noses with each other through the the c&c bars it caused a few issues but I put a piece of material in between and so they can still hear and smell each other and all perfectly fine! Should be ok and if not just move them slightly further from each other!
