New Piggies' Floor Time

They are lovely and look relaxed, love their hay and set up

Awwww little stunners!:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: Aren't they just gorgeous!

the black one looks like a little rascal indeed!:))
they are both so cute and happy!:luv:
lucky piggies to have such a nice slave like you!:own:

So adorable, I love how they have the same eye masks just in different colors!

Aww they are gorgeous! I sat on floor with my piggies while we were getting used to each other too & still do it now. I think it's the best way for them to get used to "their human" on their own terms & they will in time realise that you aren't a threat (especially if you have food ). Also my piggies love it when I sit on the floor with a blanket over my legs. They go under the blanket & run around like lunatics! Sound odd but they love it! :own:

In fact I'm about to do that just now as I've just cleaned their cage whilst they are out .
Will grab a few nice greens and sit there myself and see what happens :)

Lucky boys! Such stunners! :love::drool:

Just a tip about that alfalfa ring, please cut the string off and maybe put it in a tray or something. When my Bella was young she got stuck in the string and could've got really hurt if I hadn't been home. When I heard her squealing I came running, she must have run through it when some of the alfalfa hay had been eaten and when she tried to escape it it got tighter and tighter :( I had to cut it off her very carefully, she was quite shook up bless her.

Thank you , I appreciate the info !
There's not much play in the rope but I will do so and make it safer , just in case , as it can be that dangerous .

No probs, I'd hate to think that those beauts might hurt themselves!

Yea if you search "warning about alfalfa hay rings" you'll see my post from a year and a half ago, I'm always careful to take any string away from my silly pigs now! It was only a thin bit of string so I didn't think much of it at the time!

Seen it now !
Well , thank you , it's crazy to think something like that can happen so quickly as well ... whilst I'm in the kitchen .... brrr shivers

I kept the string from the alfalfa ring and threaded it through some toilet roll holders with holes in them, and full of hay, and stretched it across the corner of the cage (above head height). I tied it on one end and used the metal hook on the other....so not entirely wasted when you remove it. lol

As you can see mine's not loose at all and they are tiny and can't reach too high yet .
I will take it off next time though .

Yes it's a scary thought! It was when they'd eaten a bit of it when it got loose. It wasn't that rope at the top though, it was the loops of string around it which I think I can see in the pic. Is it a rosewood one or wilkos? I know they have them on there.
