New Piggies! Sarsaparilla & Vimto

Fab news that Cookie is starting to accept her new friends. Hopefully it won't take too long to settle now, sometimes you just find there are a pair that are a bit narky with each other mentioning no names ( Ruby and Tia) ;) They love each other really just don't like sharing- open ended cosy tunnels are fab for pigs who aren't keen on sharing, as they can escape when they've had enough.
Fingers crossed it continues to go well.
 
So glad Cookie has new friends, they look good together, they kind of match if you know what I mean :))
They'll soon settle down and work out the pecking ordered but girls will be girls and there's quite often handbag fights. I'm listening to Amelia and Penny have a squeak off at the moment. Can't be that bad, Ash hasn't got involved yet. Probably just an argument over who ate the last flaked pea or something. lol
 
Excellent, glad Cookie is calming down a bit, give it a few more days and they'll be inseparable!

Thanks! I hope so too, they seemd quite happy at breakfast this mornign apart from Sarsa who wouldnt stop teeth chattering at me... bolshy little madam :))

Wonderful news that Cookie has new buddies, know how hair raising it is introducing them. I thought Bruce was going to eat Nancy when he met her as he was so rough but now, they are best of friends and he gives her the odd nudge when her and Bella start racing around. Being so much younger than him, we have nicknamed him Grandad as he tries to popcorn with them which is hilarious.
Your girls all look so cute together and will have approval from Treacy :)

Sarsa does sound like a little madam with her teeth chattering. I get the teeth chatter from George if I don't get the veggies quick enough.

All are fab, as far as I know. Back at uni until next Wednesday to finish off my exams so they're well looked after at home.
Ruby and Tia have decided they quite like the metacam now- despite pulling 'sour' faces initially. Tia even sits and licks the syringe, she has a huge tongue!
Rosie is her usual self, got another injection on Monday for her so will see how she is then. And Esme well she's lovely as always although she is a madam for teeth chattering too especially if I'm not quick enough with their veg :)

How are your girls getting along today? x

So pleased to hear they are all well. Tia with a huge tongue lol most piggies adore metacam. Cookie and Treacy would run off with the syringe :))

Cookie, Sarsa and Vimto are getting along better than I ever expected.

Sarsaparilla (the Rex) is a nutter... She burrows under fleece, cause havoc with Laps through piggies and has a loud voice, she will follow Cookie when Cooks comes over to the bars to see us.
Vimto bless her is still so timid and scared of everything. But she is now bar climbing too, but will run at any sudden movement.
For rescue piggies they are quite fussy with food and will leave veg... I think they need to feel a little more secure than they do at the moment but it's early days.

Oh, one more thing they are scared of Megs snoring :)) :))
