I have been on the lookout for two piggies for about a month now and tonight I found the perfect match, I’m so happy! I pick them up on Monday. They are two sisters 4 months old. Their breed is alpacas, I’m not sure what I’m going to call them yet.
I have had a texel Guinea pig in the past which requires lots of grooming so I know these two will be the same, any tips for grooming Guinea pigs? Does anyone else have alpaca piggies?

I've never had alpaca pigs, but the ones in the photos look like they need a little TLC. A haircut, brush, etc.

Absolutely gorgeous! They look like maybe a trim and a brush would be a good start! I have a long haired but her hair looks silkier and easier to brush than those guys. I brush her once a week and keep her hair just short enough to clear the floor. Any tatts I just cut away, rather than annoy her.

Wow, love their hair, what beautiful girls you have. I have a sheltie, she just requires a quick brush through but her hair is quite human like. The main thing is to watch out for mats around their bums

Hi Natalie, I’m currently after 3 alpacas for my 3 daughters. Do you mind me asking where you had them from. Struggling to find any at the moment.

Have you tried our recommended rescue list? @Craigb5 there are many guinea pigs looking for a forever h9me right now. Make sure you don’t get three boars, this will lead to severe fighting. Either 3 sows or a neutered boar and two sows is a good combo

After just sows really to go with the 5 we have already. I’ll take a look now. Thanks
