I adopted 3 sows from the adoption centre in the pets at home store where i work. I am not keen on their names so i will probably change them. First is Gemma she is Beige with pink eyes she is 2 1/2 years old, then their are her Daughters both aged 2, I think that Muffin is a Black satin and Sooty is a Silver Agouti. They all have fantastic temperaments but are in serious need of losing some weight. I will try and weigh them tomorrow and get some pics of them. :)

Muffin wasn't happy to have her photo taken but you can just see her hiding behind Sooty.

Hi they are gorgeous piggies. My local P at H is Scunthorpe do you know if they do an adoption part?

Thanks Lindsay

Gorgeous piggies. :smitten: :smitten:

Hi Lindsay, I think they have an adoption centre in the scunthorpe store. :)
I have been looking to adopt a group of sows for the past 7 months so when they turned up it was fate.
Lots of people enquired about them whilst they were in their quarantine period but most of them only wanted to take 2 of them. ?
Still struggling to come up with new names for them, any suggestions. :)

I cant see sooty! I'm not too good with names. Gemma is gorgeous but i agree needs a new name. Its not a piggy name lol. She definatly needs a cute name. I'm sure you will get some suggestions rolling in once others read your site. I rang my local pets at home they have no piggies in at the moment. suppose thats a good thing in a way, must be good pet owners here in Scunthorpe!.

Hope all goes well with the girlies post more pics soon.

Lindsay x :)
